Stay tuned for up to date Q&A’s

  • The Route: The 2026 Colorado’s Ride will be a full loop featuring some of the state’s most iconic scenery and climbs, including two high-alpine classics: Cottonwood Pass and Monarch Pass.

Riders will also experience  the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, along with countless miles of quiet, scenic Colorado roads.

Camping Is Back — Everywhere! We’re bringing back what many riders have been asking for: Colorado camping at every venue.

All overnight locations will offer camping with showers and convenient access to nearby town amenities. Think prime locations, easy logistics, and the kind of community atmosphere that defines Colorado’s Ride.

Why the New Dates? For 2026, Colorado’s Ride hits the road August 10-14, 2026, perfectly timed for quieter roads and an even better riding experience. These dates are also expected to avoid conflicts with summer school schedules.

  • Week long registration is $675.00 + Tax/Sur. That makes the 2026 tour the most economical, professionally supported tour in Colorado (per day).

Colorado’s Ride is capped at 350 riders total. This does distribute some expenses across a smaller base of participants, which will provide a better overall experience but does push the participant cost up slightly.

  • Rider registration fees are allocated for expenses directly associated with riding the bike.

Rider registration includes Day Bag Support (Day 1), Aid-Station Support, Start Venues, and support from the following organizations… Colorado State Patrol, Colorado Department of Transportation, Rapid Response Medical, Summit Cycle Solutions, Town of C.B., Town of Gunnison, Town of Buena Vista, Town of Salida, Chafee County, Gunnison County, USFS Bureau of Land Management, Venue Management Fees, Private Land Use Fees.

  • Colorado’s Ride is socially inclusive. To do this, we are eliminating the fiscally inclusive registration fee.

Many tours have made the mistake of promising ancillary services beyond riding the bike. This allows for expenses to balloon out of control. Colorado’s ride is a platform for access to local amenities.

Rider registration does not include luggage transport, camping venue fees, hotel services, local transportation, airport transportation, meals, bike shipping, or any other services not directly associated with riding a bike.

Ancillary services can be purchased “ a la carte” via our logistics page, or by contacting Summit Cycle Solutions.

  • All services may be purchased via our logistics tab 👉 (click here).

Hotels: Hotels are booked via Summit Cycle Solutions. Riders will be able to have luggage transferred as a part of the program with Summit Cycle Solutions.

Camping & Vans: Sleep under the stars in every host town. Bring your tent, camper van, overland rig, small trailer, or personal vehicle. Camping is dry with no hookups, but showers, great food, and town amenities are always close by. Camping reservations can be secured during registration or anytime through the Logistics tab.

  • Colorado’s Ride is limited to 350 riders. We expect services will be limited in nature.

    1. Secure rider registration.

    2. Secure lodging via Summit Cycle Solutions.

    3. Secure transportation services (flights, bike shipping, parking).

  • Colorado’s Ride is a small tour which means we operate a bit more authentically. Riders aren’t a number in the system.

Aid-stations will still have nutritious snacks, bars, gels, electrolyte drink, water, sunscreen and facilities.

  • Routes on Colorado’s Ride are fully supported. This means riders will have Colorado State Patrol, Medical Services, Mechanical Services, and Ambulance Services on site.

Routes are intentionally designed to be “enjoyable” rather than “extreme”. The estimated support to rider ratio is 1:25 while on route.

  • Colorado’s Ride is thrilled to welcome up to 350 (max) enthusiastic cyclists to this incredible event! To make this an unforgettable journey, we cap ridership at 350 participants. Let’s come together and ride Colorado in style!
